Although only two inmates, Ange and Kevin, show up for the course, he is persuaded by the inexperienced, young social worker Alice to give the workshop anyway. In doing so, he sets in motion a machinery that throws all those involved back into their own past: The five people gradually reveal puzzle pieces of their biographies that interweave more and more into each other? until finally their seemingly different fates inevitably run into each other. The unusual workshop opens doors into the past that can no longer be closed so easily. Theatre workshop and reality become blurred and can hardly be distinguished. The exciting and multifaceted drama Intra Muros turns our ideas of time and reality upside down. Michalik's distinctive humour and extraordinary narrative style have celebrated triumphs in Paris and London in recent years. As an actor, he began his career at the Théâtre national de Chaillot, where he took on his first role as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet in 2001 and quickly made his breakthrough to become one of the most celebrated French playwrights. In 2018, for example, his award-winning hit play Edmond about the genesis of Cyrano de Bergerac was filmed for the cinema. In Germany, the film was shown under the title Curtain up for Cyrano.
